Robert was recognized for his almost 10 years of commitment of working with the St. James Village BIZ in efforts of establishing and promoting the zone through events and involving both business members and the local residents through various tactics.

This award is presented annually to individuals, organizations and businesses that have made significant contributions to a Business Improvement Zone. Winners are chosen for their dedicated and passionate work that contributes to the success of the geographic area that makes up the zone.

His Worship Mayor Sam Katz presented the “Mayor’s Business Improvement Zone” Awards to the City of Winnipeg’s Business Improvement Zones (BIZ) on May 28th, 2009.
